[RV fan] If the speed controller or the fan doesn't work, what should I do?
Self-Troubleshooting
1. Check the power source:
Make sure the power source is working properly and supplying the correct voltage. Check the fuse or circuit breaker and replace or reset if necessary.
2. Check the wiring:
Make sure all wiring connections are secure and not loose or damaged. Check for any frayed wires or damaged insulation that may be causing a short circuit.
3. Check the polarity:
Make sure the polarity is connected the same. (Positive to positive / Negative to negative)
3. Check the speed controller:
If the fan is not working, try bypassing the speed controller by connecting the fan directly to the power source. If the fan works, then the issue may be with the speed controller. If the fan still doesn't work, then the issue may be with the fan motor itself.
4. Contact the TITAN:
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact the manufacturer for further assistance or to arrange for repairs or replacement.
