Can I install TITAN RV fan inside my RV fridge inside fo the cooling fins?
Yes. TITAN RV fan series are designed to help cool down the RV refrigerator, and we advise to be installed on close to evaporator of the refrigerator to improve ventilation. But the temperature of fridge cooling fins would not be over 70℃. Please carefully notice the surrounding temperature. There is a probe to detect the temperature of the environment near the evaporator of the refrigerator. We suggest to place the sensor in about 1 inch freely suspended to the evaporator because there is the warmest area.
How does RV fridge works?
The general RV fridge work called absorption refrigerator. The absorption refrigerator uses a chemical reaction with ammonia and hydrogen gas induced with heat and with evaporation and condensation. The RV fridge works by using the heat to send the fluids (ammonia, hydrogen gas) through various tubes and it has zero moving parts only using gravity to pull chemical down. The evaporation and condensation it comes down through these tubes and it creates the cool inside the fridge or rather absorbs the heat out of the fridge.
The advantages of TITAN RV fan installation inside of the evaporator
It is an important way to improve the performance of RV fridge that installed a RV fridge fan. The common suggestions mounted are inside of the fridge evaporator or mount outside of fridge vent. TITAN provides two types of installation products. The advantage of RV fridge fan installation is that use an active way exposing the heat source and to exhaust the heat out or pull fresh air in of the RV fridge. Also, with TITAN RV fridge fan, it is equipped with automatically temperature detection, the RV fan speed could be operated according the temperature to reduce the power consumption.
Mounted the fan grille side outwards to exhaust out the heat on the upper side of RV side fridge vent.
It is impossible to create the different airflow (both air out and air in) simultaneously in the same RV fridge place. The common mounted way is place two fans to boost the circulation of RV cooling system. One is on the upper vent, and another one is the bottom vent. If you want to exhaust out the air, the installation way needs to mount the fan grille side outwards and on the upper fridge side near the top.

Consider a fridge fan to circulate more air inside the fridge if you’re using an absorption fridge. This helps keep a more consistent temperature and can help maintain more even cooling. If you want to pull fresh air in, you need to mount the fan grille side inwards and on the bottom fridge side.
