Step 1

• Clean old thermal grease from the CPU.

Step 2

Spread new thermal grease evenly on the CPU.

Step 3

Have the clip ready.

Step 4

Aim the hole of the clip at the peg.

Step 5

Put on the rubber cover.

Step 6

Place the cooler into the retention frame.  The lever is in a loose position.

Step 7

Hook the right clip to the retention frame.

Step 8

Hook the left clip to the retention frame.

Step 9

Turn the lever to the other side to fasten the cooler.

Step 10

Connect the fan connector to the motherboard.

Step 11

Complete.
