In order to test the performance of the TTC-G7TZ, temperature probes were taped to the hottest area on the bottom of the notebook and the side air outlet.  While these temperatures are unlikely to be 100% correct, these will allow for comparison between load and idle temperatures. Firstly, running the test without the cooling pad, the average temperature was 54.2 degrees on the bottom and 65.3 on the side air outlet.  After 60 minutes, we ran the test again, this time with the notebook sitting on the TTC-G7TZ cooling pad.  The average temperature recorded during the second test was only 44.8 degrees on the bottom and 59.7 on the side air outlet.
